I like the keyboard layout to reflect the simple entry window (where 1 is a whole note, 2 is a half note etc...), but when I create a Duration:HalfNote is Ctrl+2, it doesn't work. Many of my custom entries don't work. Has anyone else encountered similar issues or found solutions for custom key commands not working?

OS 10.11.6 El Cap, Finale 25.2.0.79

Just a guess - if you're changing the Simple Entry shortcuts, you need to quit and restart Finale before they become available.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have done that. Made the updates and changes yesterday to simple edit entries, and since have quit the application and restarted (installing other software), and today, alas, some-not all-of the custom shortcuts didn't work. Some of them work just fine.
