Can't get Hyperscribe to record (using MIDI).  I've pored through the manual and forum and can't seem to find a fix.  Very frustrating.  I can manually insert notation and hear it played back, just can't record in real time.  My MIDI setup and other recording software works fine, and the computer/finale appears to recognize my MIDI keyboard and interface, but I just can't get Hyperscribe (or the record button) to work.  Any help would be very much appreciated!

And TH Gillespie, while you are adding your version of Finale and your Operating System, please use the pull-down version of your name in the gray bar at the top of the screen to add that info to your profile.

Hello, Thanks so much for your quick response.  My version of Finale is

Finale 2012 Academic 
My OS is Win 10.

You should immediately Edit your post to remove your serial number. Someone could hijack your Finale account with it.

 

There is no longer phone support for Finale. Try using the "Submit a request" link at the top of this page.
