In most cases, you may install on two but use only one at a time. To install on a third, you have to deactivate one of your active installations first.

Single-user Finale licenses allow you to authorize Finale on up to two computers at a time. If you know you are going to update an operating system, or replace/reformat a computer you can deauthorize Finale by choosing Help > Deauthorize Finale from within the program.

If you are not able to authorize or need assistance deauthorizing a computer you no longer have access to (you currently have both of your authorizations used), please use the Submit a request link above to contact Customer Success for further assistance.

right now I'm working as a music teacher in an University. What happens if I get an academic license and then don't work anymore as a teacher? Do i have to buy again the normal license?
