WinPro10 using Finale 25.2.0.92

Trying to enter a chord with accidentals in the key of A...chord is C#7/E# according to the music, but the chord entry automatically changes the E# into an F. I need it to stay as an E#. How do I keep the chord entry from changing what I type into the "simplified" enharmonic equivalent?

To get E#, just type D###.

You can also disable "Simplify Spelling" in the Chord menu. That will cause everything you type to appear exactly as you type it. It might also cause your chord to show up in an alto sax part as A#7/Cx, though! You will to manually edit that to Bb7/D if you want it that way.

Thanks for the suggestions! I stumbled across the "Simplify Spelling" setting yesterday, and it worked. Luckily I'm only needing it for "C" instruments this time!
