Hi, if I want to leave an existing palette mode and go to the Pointer palette mode, is their a key command for that?

I'm on F 2014.5 and OSX.

Like pressing the ESC key (twice?)? I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.

Cmd + Shift + A also takes you to the Selection tool.

Thanks folks! Both solutions work for me on OSX. ESC ESC is more convenient and easier to remember.
