 Hi,

I wonder,if it is possible to get the A4 page size as "first choice" in the set up wizard? I just installed the 25.2 version (windows 10), amd as usual the Letter size is the first to pop uo. I tried to move the A4-size to the beginning of the file ...txt, but then the Concert-size pops up first, when I open the Wizard ????

There are two, identical, documents named “pagesizes.txt”.

One resides in the Finale folder hierarchy in your user account.

Another resides in the Finale folder hierarchy at root level.

(I can not be more specific since I am using Mac OS X.)

Which one did you edit?

Using a tip in an earlier post, I edited this:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\MakeMusic\Finale\Music Files\Default Files

I am unable to duplicate your result.

Editing the corresponding file (pagesizes.txt) in Mac OS, and moving the A4-size to the beginning of the file did not make the Concert-size pop up first.

Instead, the Letter-size popped up as usual.

This could be a difference between Mac Finale and Windows Finale.

Perhaps it is time to ask the folks in Tech Support.
