Thank you Kevin,

It was the server Google Chrome that was the problem. When I downloaded the program with Safari, it worked. One more question if you don't mind. I also downloaded the Garritan software. How does that merge with the finale program, and do I have to do something special in order to use those sounds in my arrangements. I believe that I had to use some "audio" designation from my other arrangements when I used them long ago.

I have been noting the Chrome problem since 25 became available. MM still hasn't addressed it.

You have to run both installers to get Garritan—some close the window after the Finale install thinking they are done and not realizing a second one has to be run. It's confusing and MM should have fixed that years ago.

You access the Garritan sounds in the Aria engine. Under MIDI/Audio, go to Audio Units Banks & Effects. The Aria Engine will be in the drop-down under Instrument.
