Hi,

 

I installed JABB3 via the file I downloaded from my user account. In my components folder an ARIA Player AU (from 2009 ?!) shows up.

 

This component is not recognized by the most recent Logic Pro version.

 

After updating the ARIA player with the recent version (1.872) nothing changes.

 

The whole installation and updating process is pretty shaky to my opinion.

 

Any help or ideas ?

Hello Chris,

 

I'd like for you to remove the ARIA Player AU Component and reinstall the latest version of the ARIA Player.

 

1. Quit any open programs (this web browser is an exception and may remain open).

2. In Finder, choose (from the Finder program toolbar) Go > Go to Folder.

3. Type or copy & paste the following location:

 

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

 

4. Click Go.

5. Find a the ARIA Player AU.component and drag it into the trash.

6. Empty your Trash.

7. Download the latest version of the ARIA Player from this Knowledge Base article.

I have no idea why (maybe trashing the bin did the trick ?!), but now it´s working.
