I am looking for the comparison chart for 2014.5 vs 25.
For me, I want to more easily create simple drum charts with chord changes and a few accents or rhythms on one line. Is 25 improved for ease of use there?
From the What’s New list for Finale v25:
Percussion Note Types. Mark tree and snares off options available as percussion note types.
That is what I can find, that specifically is relevant for “drum charts with chord changes”.
However, some of the other new v25 features may also interest you:
Partial measure selection. Utilities > Change > Chords now works on partial measure selections.
Measure Number Bar. A Measure Number Bar now appears along to the top of the screen in Scroll and Studio View.
