This would be a great upgrade for many people, because GPO 5 is nice. Gary did a great job with it. The problem is that I own Finale 2014.5 and I have GPO, 4 & 5 and IO. All I need are a very few features in the new Finale, and $149 seems steep for what I need? Are they going to offer any individualized upgrades for folks like me that have been with them forever, just so we don't go out of date?

Win 10, Finale 2014.5, GPO 5, GP IO

Probably not. I have been using Finale since version 1, and I paid the same as everyone else (who is not in the education category) for the upgrade.

You can upgrade through many resellers for less $ if you shop around. I don't know if you can get the GPO 5 upgrade when you do so.

 

After purchase, the reseller will email a code that you use when you log into your user account to update and download. Do not use the Chrome browser for this. Firefox, Safari and I.E. are fine.

 

Even though I have additional licenses that I can upgrade, I already have GPO 5.
