Windows 10 and 2014.5 Simple entry works correctly and I believe I have all the settings mentioned in the articles I surveyed correct also.
No idea what you are talking about. Can you be more specific. Hyperscribe is for playing notes on your keyboard and having Finale transcribe them. It doesn't use squares at all, certainly not any I can find that are labeled "Duration." Please explain further.
