I am working on Mac OS 10.12.3 (Sierra)

I used a number of tools to produce a unique notation that looks great on the screen but it will not print correctly. All other measures in the piece print fine, but in the measures using the unique notation, there are many boxes with question marks over the music. The same occurs when creating a pdf or postscript version.

I was hired to notate this piece according to certain specification and was able to accomplish it in Finale. My problem is that I cannot now print out a copy of the final product or send them a pdf.The postcript version also has the same question marks.Here is a screen shot of one of the measures using the notation as viewed in Finale:
