I'm failing to copy a set of measure widths from one section to a later section on the same part.

I have a one staff score with changing time signatures and a set of widths that have been set by hand.

I have set the edit filter for measure width, chosen the measures in question then dragged them to the target. Nothing happens.

It works for me and I have tried to get it to not work and can't.

 

A shot in the dark - after copying the measure widths, update the layout: press Command U. If you have Automatic Update Layout turned off in Preferences > Edit, try turning it on and doing some work that way.
