Lawton,

Could MakeMusic employees who contribute to these forums please find a consistent way to identify themselves, either with a user name that starts MM_ or with a flag (like "Product Specialist" or "MM Employee") to help us know who represents the company and who is another member of the community? Recently a poster named David C. has been offering solutions. Only when he offers to open a support case for a user does one realize he is a MM Employee since nothing I can deduce from his avatar or read in his forum signature file gives any indication. I, for one, would like to know when I am talking to or reading advice from a company rep and when I am communicating with another contributor to the forum, since one assumes a MM employee may have knowledge unavailable even to  some of the more expert users who participate in our discussions.

I would suggest that this identification policy would benefit company monitors on all the other MM Forums as well.

Thanks for listening.

Great catch, J Adrian!

In fact, that looks like a Help Center bug that can be fixed. We want our employees to be easily identifiable as well. For what it's worth, anytime you have a question all our user names that are registered as agents will have this icon...

That being said, I prefer the badges as well (much more clear). I have resolved the conflict with our agent Dave's. I will check our other agents's as well, but if you see anymore, please feel free to let me know by posting back here.

Thanks for the feedback!
