sound has much static and not clear sound as if either latency or buffer size not correct.  Tried all buffers in audio program but still mo success.  I am using GARRITAN JABB3.  The sounds by themselves are fine but when added to PRINT MUSIC the instruments have the unclean sound.

I am using WINDOWS 10.  print music 2014 with latest upgrade.  GARRITAN JABB3 upgraded ARIA to latest.

Same problem here. Any suggestions anyone? Lots of static, tried everything to clean it up. Even uninstalled Finale program then reinstalled. It worked fine for a day and then was back with static again. I'm on Windows 8 with Finale 2014.5.6etc.

Usually a crackling sound (in Full Finale) suggests a problem with buffer size. I cannot say anything authoritative regarding PrintMusic. The other thing to check is what sound driver you are using. I get my best results in Finale (in WIn 7-64) with DirectSound.
