There are issues with the 8710 Spooler in Win 10. Google and HP Support appear to be your friends on this one.

Hi Mike.  The issues I seem to find on Google are the printer not working with Windows 10.  My printer works perfectly with Windows 10 with every program.  It is that finale 25 will not start while the printer spooler is running.  I am not finding posts on google where the Hp printer spooler is stopping other programs from starting.  If you find one, please let me know.
