Windows 10

The Coda sign is gone from the drop down list of repeat symbols.  How do I get it back?

Load the Text Repeat library for the appropriate font (and then delete any duplicated symbols that get in your way).

(Load Library is a File menu option.)

I did that, but it is still not there.  Can I download the entire repeat library from the Make Music website?

Presumably you can reload the entire Finale program. I doubt the libraries are available separately. Have you tried creating a document without libraries and loading the Text Repeat libraries to verify that you do not already have the Coda symbol. That would take less time than downloading everything. (Be sure to test the Text Repeat libraries for all the different fonts.)

Hi Herb:

If you are in Finale, I'd just duplicate the DS symbol and then edit the new DS symbol to be your Coda symbol, they both use the same font and font size. The keystroke for the Coda character is Alt+0222. So, hold down Alt and press "0222" on your Windows numpad.

Maestro Font Character Map here

The Text Repeat libraries are installed for you in the Library / Maestro Font / Text Repeats.lib as Adrian also suggested. That should work too.

If you are in PrintMusic, there isn't the ability to add/edit new text repeats and there is no load library functionality. I'd recommend opening a ticket with https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new  to have a MM CS Rep add the Coda symbol back in.

Sorry, you're having this problem.

Cheers,

Michael
