Finale 2014.5 Mac Sierra

 

Rhythmic notation puts the stems down - which interferes with the lyrics.  When I try to flip the stems from the drop down menu it has no impact.  Thanks

I am not sure I understand.

 

Are you saying that this option is not working for you?

Wow - I just found this post, looking for the same solution - After 20 years of using Finale, I've NEVER noticed that check box... sheesh!
