 Hi all,

I'm using GPO 5 in combination with Finale 2014 on Windows 10. In the piece I'm writing, there are a lot of fast notes for especially two violin and one viola section. None of the string samples except, to some extent, the simple section strings work for me. The section strings are a little bit to dry for my taste and adding more reverb will muddy the sound too much. Now, I just bought this program a few days ago and I'm a total noob when it comes to MIDI and VST libraries, but I couldn't find any help anywhere else so can you guys help me out on how to do this in FInale?

However, it's not clear to me what exactly those CC codes are and where I would find them.

Set them up a techinque in human playback.

You can also use the MIDI Tool if you want to manipulate CC messages in a more real-time fashion.

Something I'm not sure any of the threads above address....

Engaging the legato pedal (CC68) can help with faster passages as well.  To get these in Finale put the passage inside slur marks (you can hide them if you don't want them to display/print).
