Hello!

 

I'm using Print Music 2014a.v1165 on an iMac with OS X El Capitan-Version 10.11.6 

 

Here is my question: How can I stop Print Music from crashing every time I attempt to add articulation, bowing or such?

Hi Ramon,

 

That crash is actually due to an incompatibility between PrintMusic 2014a and OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). Fortunately, you can resolve this by downloading and installing the latest update to the PrintMusic 2014 series, PrintMusic 2014.5. This update is free for owners of PrintMusic 2014:

 

1. Log into your MakeMusic account here.

2. Click the green Download button in the PrintMusic 2014 section. This will download the PrintMusic 2014.5 installer; it will be called "MacDiskInstaller_2014.5.24.0.dmg".

3. Run that installer once it has completed downloading; restart your computer.

 

The new version of PrintMusic will not remove the old, but will install as its own application. You can launch PrintMusic 2014.5 from your Applications folder. It will share an authorization with PrintMusic 2014 if you have already authorized it.
