I am using Finale 2014.5, and am creating a handbell score for four players. What I would like to do is create a "handbells used chart" for each player, but displayed alongside each other. There are shared bells, so some bells appear multiple times. Is there any way to do this?

I can't think of any way to do it automatically. The best I can come up with is to create the charts individually, and export them as graphics. Then, import them back into your complete score.

Hi Amanda,

Quick clarifying question, for these four players - are you using four separate grand staves in the same score, separate scores, or something else?

The reason I ask is because the Handbells Used Chart created by the plug-in is just an altered measure - its contents can be copied and pasted, which can be then be moved alongside each other in the same "system" at the top of the page. So, if you're using four separate grand staves, you can create the Handbells Used Charts for each staff using the plug-in and then copy and paste them into blank measure in the first system of the first staff.

EDIT: (And delete the unneeded extra measures in the first system).

I'm sure there are multiple ways to do this, but hopefully this info can help you reach your goal!

For what it's worth, this is how I'd handle it, with Misc. Expressions and Smart Shapes.
