Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. I'm running Songwriter on a new MacBook Pro. When using the caret to enter notes, 'option number keyboard' works to change the note duration in all cases except the half-note (which should be option 6). Anyone else had this? Any solutions?

Has it ever worked correctly? Have you restarted the computer? Trashed the preferences?

 

You might also try downloading the demo of PrintMusic 2014.5, and see if that works correctly. The 2012 versions are no longer supported, and MM has indicated that SongWriter may not be updated at all.

It never has worked correctly. I've trashed the preferences. It's the latest trial version.
