There is this message in my play back control box: "Re-sync Score Data"  I am not able to make any further progress with score.

This update was working fine for a few days.    I am desperate to get this working because I'm woking on arrangements for an upcoming show.

Hi Elizabeth,

It sounds like Finale may be in ReWire mode. To reset that, choose MIDI/Audio > Device Setup > Reset ReWire. You will need to restart the program after doing so (which should happen automatically).

I hope this helps!

Alright, so this is what I get for not reading the top post! My apologies. Since you are on Finale 2014, it sounds like you maybe had the Finale v25 trial installed? You will not see the Reset ReWire button. If you do not have the Finale v25 trial still installed to do what I mentioned above, here is what you can do...

1. Close Finale.

2. Click your desktop background, and choose Go > Go To Folder from the Finder program toolbar.

3. Type in:

~/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic/Common

4. Make sure you include the tilde symbol at the beginning (~) and click Go.

5. Move the "Finale.rewire" file out of that folder on to your desktop (you can delete the file later if this all works out, it will be regenerated when needed).

6. Relaunch Finale.

Hope this helps!

F25 is installed via download.

For an additional $25, you can get a DVD installer, as well.

These days, the "media kit" is a Thumb Drive instead of a DVD.
