 Hi

I have to write 2 half note tuplets over a dotted half in 6/4 time signature,  the Tuplet Definition dialogue box doesn't "go to" dotted halves.

Is there a way to increases the "in the space of" box to dotted halves?

I'm a little confused. A dotted half is 3 quarters. Are you talking about putting a duplet (two half notes) in that space?

 

If that's what you want, set it for 2 half notes in the space of 3 quarters.

Thanks, I hadn't thought  of subdividing.
