Midi filter?

I'm using an old M-Audio Keystation 88 for input into Finale and the keyboard has started sending out random pitch bend data (verified by monitoring incoming midi data). I've opened it up and disconnected the pitch bend wheel, but that didn't solve the problem. (In searching online apparently this is a common problem as these units get older.) Is there a way to filter this data out in Finale? I was able to do so in Logic, but I can't find a solution for Finale. Ideally I'd like to filter it at the system level. I tried an app called Midipipe but it's not working (at there's no manual that comes with it, so nowhere to look for help). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You could try this:

Selection Tool.

Select All.

Edit menu > Clear Selected Items…

Click “None” to de-select everything, then select only “Performance data”.

Sorry, should've added, playback is fine, I've select d all measures with the midi tool and set the continuous data/pitch wheel to zero, so it resets every instrument at the beginning of every bar.

I need to filter the midi thru, as the problem is playing notes in. It changes pitch sometimes as much as several times a second (randomly) which makes note entry extremely irritating.

I will, though I suspect there's not much they can do, as it's not a Finale problem, it's a hardware problem. Though maybe they would consider implementing a midi filter. Most DAW apps have one, though of course there's much more reason to have one in a DAW. I was hoping someone else might have had this problem and had discovered a work-around.
