Hi!

 

So I recently got a new macbook pro, and have been attempting to use Finale 2012 on the new computer. Everything seems to work fine, and I am able to notate and do most normal tools, but the playback tool doesn't work. Each time I click the play button, the entire program crashes and I have to restart it. I have not been able to get the tool to work on this new computer, so I am wondering if there is a way to fix this issue without upgrading it immediately?

There are some known issues with Finale 2012 and Mac OS X 10.12 (Sierra).

 

What version of Mac OS X is installed on your new MacBook Pro?

Are you using Human Playback?

Wait, I stand corrected. I am using Human playback. That's the part that keeps making the program crash each time I try to use it

Try without using Human Playback.
