Hello, new to Finale v. 25.4 (Mac). Tried to add chords with fretboards for ukulele line in the score for my students in the orchestra and NO success at all. I managed to get 4 strings and 4 frets (otherwise although the instrument is ukulele it put guitar chords and frtes) but the chords are totally WRONG. I am sure that there is something I am missing but I don't know what. I don't want to go and double check online every single chord how it looks like and compare it if it is correct or not. It takes too much time and it defies the purpose of using a solid notation software like Finale. Any advice? Thank you.

The fretboards are for baritone uke tuning.

What uke tuning do you need?

- ADF#B ?

- GCEA ?

… GCEA …

Then read this thread:

https://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5&m=364253&p=1

In the thread there are some attached files with a solution.

I just loaded the library ukechords.lib (attached 6/2/2012 by Bill Wadlinger) into a Document Without Libraries, and it works.

If you only need uke fretboards in the document, go to the dialog Fretboard Instrument Definition, and delete all fretboard instruments except the ukulele.
