Finale 2014,5 on a Mac
How can I define the default placement of cautionary clefs? They all appear too close to the subsequent note.
In “Finale-speak” the term ‘cautionary clef’ means an {end-of-system courtesy clef}.
I suppose that you by {cautionary clef} mean {mid-measure clef change} - right?
The first thing to try:
Apply Music Spacing, and Update Layout.
This usually fixes the spacing issue.
If it doesn’t, then we need to know more about the document - since there are several possible culprits.
