I imported TIF files of sheet music for 6 instrument parts. Then I copied each part into a single file with 6 staves. Everything looks fine - all the notes are there and interpreted correctly. But when I have Finale play the song, there are several places where notes get stuck on, and a few notes get skipped. I can't figure out how to fix it. Anyone know what to do?

I'm using Finale 2014 on MacOS 10.8. At the moment I don't have any midi instruments connected. I'm just trying to playback through the computer speakers.

Thanks!

Without seeing the file, I have no idea. Unfortunately, you can't upload a Finale file here.

Are you running 2014 or 2014.5? If 2014, download the latest build from your MM account — it will install as 2014.5 beside 2014 and try opening it from within.

2014.5 is still supported. You can use the Submit a Request link at the top of the page.

You can join finaleforum.com and upload a short test file containing the problem there where other users can have a look.

When you get a solution, please report back here. This helps other users.

Thanks for the reply. I checked when I got home. I have 2014.5.

I also checked the individual parts (before combining them) and the playback issue IS there. So it isn't due to copy/pasting into another file. And the issue doesn't always happen on the same notes. That varies.
