Finale 25 running on Mac OS 10.11.6

I successfully create a nonlinear key signature (for example:  Cb, Db, Eb, Fb, G, Ab, Bb = six flats non-standard).

Then I try to play pitches into that staff via a MIDI keyboard and the mapping is all wrong.  For example I play "Eb" on the keyboard using rapid entry and "Db" appears on the staff.  I play "Db" and "Cb" appears.  Etc.  these don't always follow a pattern; some are not a M2nd down.  In any case "transposition" is not 'on' in the ScoreManager.

This is driving me crazy.

Without seeing an actual Finale document we can only guess.

Thoughts:

1) The key signature in your example can also be created as a Linear Key Signature.

You might find that a Linear Key Signature is easier to create (with both layout and playback) than a Nonlinear Key Signature.

2) If you insist on a Nonlinear Key Signature, then take a look at the Key Step Map, and make sure the Key Step map is correct.
