Mac : El Capitan (10.11.6)

Finale : 2014.5

I'm trying to create Chord Diagrams that show inversions moving up the neck on a particular string set.

Every time I try to create a new chord diagram Finale takes all the diagrams I've made and makes them all the same chord voicing.

What in the world is going on?!?!

I've spent an hour working on a total of 8 measures because of this...

Incredibly frustrating.

 

What am I doing wrong?

If I understand you correctly, you are talking about fretboard diagrams, right?

 

And you need the same chord symbol (e. g. D7) to display different fretboard diagrams in different places in the same document, right?

 

The fretboard diagram is linked to the chord suffix, so you need to make duplicate copies of the chord suffix, one copy for each voicing of the same chord symbol.
