I am running Windows 10. I have not had any problems running Finale, or doing the previous updates.

With update 25.4, I cannot install.  At the last part of the install I get a message saying the update could not close all the files. I closed everything and said OK. It goes a little farther and then says the windows installer service could not be accessed (I had verified it was running to this point, This update fails on both of my computers, so I do not think it is a computer problem. 

Anyone else having this problem???

If your original attempt used the Chrome browser, try with another. Some have reported problems installing with Chrome.

My original attempt(s) used Microsoft Edge. I changed the default to Firefox and will try to install again tomorrow.
