I've looked for an answer on youtube, finale manual, etc. but can't seem to find an answer.

Usually when I use my MIDI keyboard I can hear the notes being played even when NOT using speedy entry.

The problem at the moment, is that speedy entry works fine using my keyboard, but I can't hear the notes as I am inputting them let a lone when I am not.

I've played around with the MIDI keyboard settings, but not sure how to fix.

Under MIDI/Audio > Device Setup > Audio Setup, what are your settings?

Also, for keyboard echo, is MIDI Thru selected under MIDI/Audio > Device Setup?

MIDI Thru is selected and my audio set up seems to have the same settings.
Although my program is for mac.

Okay, let's try again.

When you pressed the Test Audio Output on the screen you sent, did you hear anything? If you did not, the something is affecting the sound reaching your speakers and may be due to something outside Finale.

Do other sound programs produce sound on your Mac (such as the startup sounds)? If not, start by making sure your volume control has not been turned down inadvertently.

If the Test Audio works, then...

Are you using Aria sounds?

If so, what does your Aria screen look like? Can you see instruments assigned to the various slots?

If these slots are empty, try MIDI/Audio > Reassign Playback Sounds. Also double check that nothing is muted in the Score Manager.

Ok so now I'm getting a notification to reinstall Aria, but I'm not sure how to do that
