Windows computer, Finale 2014

 

 When I open a music file, page layout lines appear on it, even though the page layout button is not selected. It's annoying, and I can't figure out how to eliminate those lines. Any suggestions?

Have you tried View > Show > Page Layout Icons?

 

I am not sure what the lines are you're talking about, but this checkbox shows or hides the page break, system break, and measure lock icons.

Actually, it could be the option above that: "Margins."

Paul Kolar,

 

Since we do not see, what you see, we can only guess.

 

Another possible culprit:

View menu > Grid/Guide > Show Grid
