Same thing began happening to me just two days ago - out of nowhere.  No way to even get into Finale to try to do a work around. I am unaware of any intentional changes made to Finale or to the accompanying sample software.  I can find nothing on my system that indicates a problem. 

When I try to start Finale Printmusic 2014, it says that the audio engine didn't load and asks me to keep restarting it. It says the same thing every time I restart it. I could still get to my music, but when I try to play it back, no sound comes out; even the bar that is supposed to move across the music as it plays back doesn't even move. There is something wrong with the audio output I think. It worked before, but now it doesn't. Also, Hyperscribe isn't working. Also, I have a Windows 10 1607 version. I would appreciate an answer as soon as possible.
