I am running OS Sierra 10.12.6 on an 11" MacBook Air (Mid-2013).  I lived in a place where I didn't have access to the 2014.5 update, and I need to update.  I attempted this morning and I couldn't complete the process because Finale apparently doesn't exist on my drive, though I run it natively on the laptop.  I have all of my serial # information for the Finale Product, and when I look at the credentials it says it's licensed to me, but I'm unable to find any information about my registered product in my MakeMusic profile, which prohibits me from downloading the full installer as prompted.  I would just like help installing the 2014.5 update so my software is usable, as I use it for school.

Have you tried the "Submit a request" link at the top of this page to contact MakeMusic directly? That seems to be the most effective course for those having difficulty downloading or updating their software.

I have and I'm waiting, just thought I'd test the waters to see what else I could dig up while I wait on MakeMusic.

This isn't making sense. Are you a registered owner of Finale 2014? If so, log into your MakeMusic User account. Download 2014 and install — it will install as 2014.5. Authorize. If you can't do so, the normal culprits are firewall, antivirus and/or network issues such as VPN.

If it says your authorizations have been used, click on Manage Authorizations in your MM User Account to clear an old one or two.

If you are trying to purchase an upgrade to 2014/2014.5, I don't believe you can anymore. If that or any other issue, use the Submit a request link at the top of the page.
