 Score Merger messes up the file I am attempting to merge. I've had this problem a number of time.

Honestly, I've never used a software with so many bugs.

AND have they stopped their phone support now???

Yes, they have. You can submit a ticket with the Submit a Request link at the top of the page.

Gregory,

You never describe the problem you are having with Score merger.

  1. What are you trying to do?
  2. How did you go about trying to accomplish it?
  3. What happened that you didn't want?

If you can't describe what went wrong, no one will be able to help you.

You must have not seen myvdescription.
When I try to merge two files the second document gets all messed up, with clefs changed and rests appearing and the format of the document messed up.
Want simple score merger with nothing changed.

I expect you are merging the two files horizontally rather than vertically.

Do the two files have the same number of staves? (exactly) the same instruments in the same order? the same time signature?

Are your problems often related to layer two (or three or four) notes being in the wrong position?

What version of Finale are you using? What computer operating system (version as well as whether it's Mac or Windows)?

 

(We'd like to help, but we haven't seen images of your file and we cannot read minds.)
