I just upgraded to the latest release of Windows 10 - Now when I start Finale (latest version) I get this installation process window that comes up and just sits there doing nothing .. I have the Finale screen in the background and an installer in the foreground.  Quite frustrating as I need this software for school work, and I think I spend more time troubleshooting this software then I do actual school work.

FYI - I've done several reboots and several uninstall/re-installs of Finale and still get the same issue - 

1. Uninstall Finale 

2. Reboot 

3. Install Finale 

4. Reboot 

5. Start Finale and a Window install starts and hangs

Nothing else can be done. I end up having to close the program and now I can't do the work I need to do with the software.  Unfortunate that I spent my hard earned money on this program and I spend more time with issues than I do actually using the software for musical production.  :(

I suggest that you open a support case with the folks in Tech Support.

 

However, it is weekend now.

I do not know whether the tech supporters are working during weekends.

You may not get a reply until monday.
