Please help...my status bar with the controls for working with layers is gone. I have assumed I accidently triggered a macro that removed/hid the bar. I really need it. I welcome your help.

Thanks in advance! I have Windows 11 Finale version 27.3.0.137

I'm not sure how you did it, but until you figure it out, you can change the layers in the View menu > Select Layers. That menu should also show keyboard shortcuts to change layers, so you can do it more easily than mousing down to that corner.

I many cases, moving the cursor to the top of the screen will lower the  status bar long enough to access the View menu.

You can check to see if it is still active. Window>View Palette is checked. Also Window>Customize Palette>View Palette
