Trial month of Finale--Grace notes aren't wanted after all but I can't dis arm them. How do I get rid of it in entering notes. I thought I could sneak them into the lyrics of Verse 2 because the rhythm is a little different than V1.

If I understand you correctly, you have never entered any grace notes, but they mysteriously show up anyway - right?
My first guess would be that you have inadvertently entered the grace notes, by hitting the grace note keystroke.
What music entry method are you using?
Speedy Entry? - Simple Entry? - MIDI file import? - or?
MIDI keyboard? - Computer keyboard? - or?
… &c.
