Whenever I export a Finale file to a MIDI file it turns 1 or more parts into percussion parts. How can I correct this?Thank you in advance.Robert Arnold
Take a good look at the channels. My first guess is that the “pesky” parts are on Channel 10. In the General MIDI standard Channel 10 is “the Percussion Channel”. In Other Words: Before exporting to MIDI, avoid Channel 10.
