Hello all,
I'm using Finale 26.3 on Windows 10. I've noticed ever since using graphics in v.2012 that if you put a Graphic on a blank first page, such as a composer's photo, it will periodically disappear and reappear when you scroll around. That bug still exists in the current version, though I'm not always able to reproduce it (it happens about 80% of the time). If you encounter this bug, here's how to fix it. Right click on the graphic (when you can see it), go to "Graphics Attributes" and where it says "Page: Single Page" change that to "Page Range" and select "1 through 1". You may also have to switch the Vertical Alignment and Positioning to "Center" rather than being attached to the header. Magic!
The "reasoning" behind the bug: When you insert a graphic it might accidentally be attached to the wrong page, or to the header. The header is by default blank on the first page, which would "confuse" the programming as to whether the graphic should be visible or not. If you select "Page: Single Page" the graphic might think it's on the 2nd page even though it's on the 1st! That's why you need to check "1 through 1" even though in our human minds it's equivalent.
That's my contribution to how to deal with Finale bugs. :)
