My file is 100+ pages and contains lyrics throughout. When I try to edit or add lyrics, Finale frequently hangs. I might be able to add lyrics for a bit, but then inevitably it will hang, often when I change verses, use the back arrow, or some such activity. Is it possible to un-corrupt such a file? (The file was built by copy/pasting music from other individual files, so this might be part of the issue.) But a lot of work has gone into this so far, and I would hate to have to start over. Help appreciated.

You might try exporting it as XML, and importing it back in. That often clears corruption. Work on a copy, just in case...

Yes, that seems to have worked. XML export/import changes some things and some formatting is lost, but that re-work is better than the corruption/hanging or starting over. :)  Hopefully I won't encounter the corruption/hanging again, but so far so good... Thank you.
