Windows 10 Finale 26

I have created multiple custom expression categories, and one has somehow decided to assign its member expressions to the top staff only.

I've read some about Score Lists, which of all my custom categories, appears in this one only.

I can't figure out how to disentangle this category from these Score Lists, which I don't much understand or feel a need to understand.

Of course I can just delete the whole category and start over, I suppose, but thought I'd ask here first if there is a way to correct this.

I'm pretty sure I didn't duplicate a "Score List category type" to create this category, but must have selected something wrong at some point.

Thanks

As Far As I Know, an expression category of the {Score List} type can only be created by duplicating an existing {Score List} type category.

I would

1) Create a new category, by duplicating an existing category without a Score List.

Then, customize the category settings as needed.

2) Move all expressions in the pesky {Score List} category to the new category.

You can reset the expressions to the new category’s Fonts and Positioning.

Should only take a few seconds.

That worked well and took just just few minutes to move a dozen or so expressions to the new category.

Thanks, Peter

I hope you understand, that you do not have to move the expressions one-by-one.

You can move all selected expressions to another category “at one fell swoop”.

Also, you can reset Fonts or Positioning to the new category for all selected expressions “in one go”.

I did not know that.

If the way to do that is obvious, I missed it.

It had been a frustrating day of trying to get OBS Studio to work with my audio hardware. Still doesn't.

I appreciate the heads-up, though.
