In primer piano books, the lyrics are in the center of the grand staff, regardless of whether treble notes or bass notes appear. When I try to do that in Finale, the lyrics will only appear below the bass staff for bass notes. How can I change this?
In this example, I put hidden rests in the treble clef for the lyric line to attach. I put a whole rest in layer two to maintain the look. If this isn't what you want, could you post a picture, please?
