Finale 2014.5, Windows 10 - I have a score where pages 1 - 6 have the desired left and right margins. However, from page 7 on to end of piece the left and right margins are too close to the edges of the paper. How do it make all pages the same margin wise like the pages 1 - 6?

Document menu > Page Format > Score…

In the dialog box Page Format for Score, customize the settings as you need them (= as on pages 1 - 6).

Then, switch to the Page Layout Tool.

Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages…

When you Redefine Pages in your score, Finale will use the formatting settings in Page Format for Score.

No, there is not a button called {Customize the settings as on Pages 1 - 6}.

In the dialog box Page Format for Score you can edit (change) all the settings.

Is the problem that you do not know the actual settings on pages 1 - 6 ?

There is a simple solution for that:

Page Layout Tool.

Page Layout menu > Update Page Format for Score

Next, go to the pages that are formatted as desired (= one of the pages 1 - 6).

Change a margin, then change the margin back to what it was (= what you need), but NOT via Undo!

When you now take a look in Page Format for Score, you will see that the settings have been updated.

NB:

The setting

{Update Page Format for Score}

is program specific (not document specific).

It might be a good idea that you toggle {Update Page Format for Score} off again, before you close the document, and open another document - to avoid unwanted disasters in the next document.
