Hello Everyone!
I am looking to transform only the contents of (RH) Layer 2 into a series of tremolo.
I have thus far been unable to troubleshoot how to do this on my own, as simply using the "Easy Tremolo Tool" changes Layer 1 as well, and I have not been able to figure out a way to place the contents of layer 2 into a separate measure, and then paste them without erasing layer 1 as well.
Does anyone have any advice for how to accomplish this? Thank you so much in advance!

Wow, I have been engraving my own music, and music professionally for a decade, and I am ashamed to say that I had no idea about that. It's one of those things that has just never come across my desk before, so no need to learn.

You are not in that boat alone. I have been using Finale ever since there was a Finale and I still find out something I never new. Sure not often but it happens. Fortunately this forum has a collective that has a huge amount of knowledge with Finale.
