Hi all.  Recently installed 27 on a Windows 11 laptop.  Playback sees the cursor moving and the studio view suggests sounds are being generated, but nothing comes out of either headphones or speakers.  I'm playing through VST and the "test audio" actually gives a sound, so it doesn't look as if it's device-related.  Grateful for any hints...

Update: when switching to SoftSynth in the Score Manager, I *do* get a playback sound.  I would, however, prefer the Garritan libraries.

Did you install the Garritan Sounds when you installed Finale? It is a separate part of the installation, and some folks miss it.

Good call.  I did, but it turns out a single file seems to have been corrupted.  Re-installed, and works like a charm now.  Thanks a bunch!
