I have Finale 2009 and laptop Lenovo 110 Intel CORE 13 and I think it's Windows 10. I am trying to make assembly music files for a Mass I composed that I want to submit to SIMPLY LITURGICAL publisher. They have a template on their website:

and I have tried over and over to get it to work. I tried putting it in a temporary file in the Edit - Program Options - Folders - Temporary Files after seeing a forum post about that, but it always says invalid file type. How do I get it to work? I tried to find the app online too and came up with nothing. Is my Finale too old? (Is my brain too old to understand what to do lol?) Thanks in advance for your help!  - Barb

Hi,

Although your link doesn’t work, there’s a click to the homepage and I was able to navigate to the templates. It is a .musx file which requires Finale 2012 or later. So yes, your copy of Finale is too old.

Finale is having a Summer Sale. Upgrades to 27.3 are $79 while new licenses are $99 (if you have an old EDU license or something ineligible for upgrade). Finale 27 runs over Windows 10 64 bit.
