I am using FINALE 27.3 with a Windows operating system. In the middle of my composition - with auto-number on - a mysterious 4. appeared [apparently from auto-number]. I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

Could you have inadvertently created another verse? If you turn auto-number off, does it go away?

Mike,

When I turn auto-number off, the word "Is" [the first word of verse 4] appears [though the 4 disappears]

Thanks, Mike.

I guess with your help...and the grace of God....I fixed it. I went to the Lyrics Window and noticed that there was an extra line with the word "is" ..and deleted that word.
